  • lordazmodeus:

    the only time I listen to some actual clean notes is when he plays them slow haha
    otherwise is just fucking noise

  • dAziks:

    Does anyone have any idea, what Abbath was trying to say at 00:44?

  • Jiyunioruu:

    Abbath is a fucking guittar monster m/

  • PunkHardSisters:

    I wish I couldn’t play slow either XD Damn, he finds it difficult to jump down to a 120 bps or so… finds 180-up much easier! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! m/ m/

  • Kallineon:

    6.35…unforgotten…ups…unforgotten by the ones…hehe…he are genius…only the best black metal musicians can sing and play guitars at same time, but play so technical hard riffs…

  • Dunkeldonner:

    @Toffmonster
    Well, no Problem. Thanks again. :P

  • varulv234:

    @noisemaker66 Oh, cool. I might have to try that, haha.

  • noisemaker66:

    @noisemaker66 I’m ashamed to admit it but it I mispelled Druggie, it should be Droogie. Forgive me Dave.

  • noisemaker66:

    @Toffmonster Yes the DV8-R is a bad ass axe with Seymour Duncan pickups(JB, Bridge and Jazz, Neck) and that cool ass 8-ball inlay on the first fret, bound fretboard and headstock. A pure metal machine! I wonder if Abbath is a Druggie or if he just really digs that LTD.

  • noisemaker66:

    @varulv234 Artificial harmonic pinches are so much easier with active pickups like an EMG 81. I wondered the same thing for years, “Zakk Wylde, how the hell does he do it” and then I got my own Gibson LP Custom Bullseye just like Zakk plays with active EMG’s (81 &85). And discovered that the APH’s were easier. Of course you use proper technique and they are easiest on the 5th fret but can be accomplished anywhere on the fretboard

  • Toffmonster:

    @Dunkeldonner I did some extra research and it seems I got you misinformed a little: he’s actually using a Dave Mustane signature series Ltd. DV8-R (it’s been discontinued, which is why I didn’t know about it). It’s still nothing really special though. The only modification he made to it is the attachment of Floyd Rose. So yeah, sorry for the confusion. :)

  • Dunkeldonner:

    @Toffmonster
    Thank you. Thought it might be some special Edition but okay. ^^

  • Toffmonster:

    @Dunkeldonner Ltd. Standard Series V, which is basically a cheaper version of ESP.

  • varulv234:

    @noisemaker66 They are? Cool.

  • BlowMyFagott:

    @guruvag haha thought the same :P

  • Dunkeldonner:

    What’s the name of his guitar?

  • guruvag:

    1:17…. abbath is just epic

  • noisemaker66:

    I love Abbath and Immortal. Someone should tell him that those Zakk Wylde type harmonic pinches he keeps working on are much easier with an EMG 81.

  • hoowoah:

    @dzedav11 looks like hes playing D Standard

  • azrael666ethereal:

    @brannlyn Gorgoroth arn’t actually from Bergen (I know most sites say so) but they are actually from Sogn og Fjordane county.. Bergen is in Hordaland county.. Both counties are nest to each other. Bergen is the largest town in the area so i presume that’s why they say Bergen…
